Hail doesn't always leak right away.
Bruised shingles look fine from the driveway and fail two winters later, after your claim window has closed. We'll get on the roof, photograph every hit and tell you plainly if it's worth filing.
Check my roofWhat's going on with your roof?
Pick one. It takes about a minute and we'll match you with the right inspector.
From inspection to new roof
Most homeowners pay only their deductible. If there's no real damage we'll tell you that too, and you won't hear a sales pitch.
Inspection
45 minutes on the roof. You get a report with 30 to 60 marked photos, usually the same evening.
Your call
If the damage is worth a claim, you file it. If it isn't, we say so and leave the report with you either way.
Adjuster visit
We meet the adjuster on your roof so nothing gets missed. This is where most of the money gets found.
Install day
Most roofs go on in one day. Magnet sweep for nails twice, and a 10 year workmanship warranty.
Signs you can check from the ground
- Dents in gutters and downspoutsIf soft aluminum took hits, your shingles did too.
- Granules piling at the downspoutsLooks like coarse black sand. That's the shingle's UV coating coming off.
- Spatter marks on the AC unit or deckClean circles in the grime show where the hail landed and how big it was.
- Neighbors getting new roofsHail doesn't skip houses as much as people hope.
From people down the street
Two other companies told me I needed a whole roof. Marcus came out, found real damage on just the north slope, and told me to file for that. The adjuster agreed with every photo.
Crew showed up at 7, roof was done by 4, and my kids found exactly zero nails in the yard. I paid my $1,500 deductible and that was the whole bill.
Honestly expected a hard sell. He said my roof was fine and to call them if anything changed. Called them two years later after the next storm, obviously.
Before you book
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. We do it because a good share of the roofs we inspect end up being ours to replace. If yours doesn't need anything, you keep the photo report and we part as friends.
Do I need to be home?
Not for the roof itself. We do like 10 minutes at the end to walk you through the photos, and we can do that on a call if you're at work.
Will filing a claim raise my rates?
In Oklahoma, a weather claim generally can't be held against you the way an at-fault claim can, but every policy is different. Ask your agent before you file. We're happy to be on that call.
How long do I have to file?
It depends on your policy. Many give you a year from the storm date, some less. That's the main reason not to wait until something drips.
Do you knock doors?
No. We don't do door to door. If someone in a Hartline shirt knocks, call the office, because it isn't us.
